Pampered Chef

Well in the last 10 days I have signed up for Pampered Chef and decided the challenges
and work to make this happen are worth it.

I know I am going to need to stay on track in order to achieve my goals and in the end I know I am going to get so much more than even I can imagine.

So much to do this morning - only 24 hours in each day so I am going to make the best of it and get to work!

I hope everyone reading this will stop back occasionally to check out my progress.

Well, The name is Michelle Marie

I have been married 11 years to the man of my dreams, Tom.

We met online while he was still in South Africa and it was love at first 'sight'.

It was a six month courtship [both of us were 27] after which he came to the States and we were married 3 days later.

Marriage is work and is never easy, but it is rewarding and
everything you could ever wish for, if this is what you want in life anyways.

We are not perfect and never claimed to be, BUT we are perfect for one another.

Anyone who has said that marriage is easy, is not being truthful. It's work & it's rewarding & it's also highly under-rated these days.

In my humble opinion, it has been down played soo much in the media [super-stars] and in films and either kids see it as the fairy-tale you can't attain; or a dark horror film - neither of which are desirable, and that is very sad indeed.

I am a happy MoMMa of 3 Gorgeous Babies.

Marjke is my red-head, she turned 8 on January 2nd, and I have been soo blessed she is mine. I am soo happy she got to know and love my Mom; and to know they were close.

She is intelligent, creative and every bit a kid. Sometimes you get kids that are either not mature enough or they do and care about things only kids much older should be concerned with.

She's 8 and I'm glad she plays with Barbies and loves to draw and color. She loves her family and friends and spending time with all of us. :o)

Jude is my little man and already 3 [also in January].He has been so quick in the foot steps of all the big kids and he is a treasure to us,like his big sister. I watch the strides he makes and the bench marks and I smile.
While he's not reading at 3, he is all we could wish for and then some. He knows his colors and shapes and is one his way!

Wyatt is the newest addition and this year will hold many happy and wonderful things for our family, I can just feel it!

Sometimes when I look at things I feel like I am in a dream. I mean the things we all hope for and dream about, I have. I love my husband and children and the life we have together and it is all I wanted.

I thank God for that as I told him some 14 years ago that I wanted the things others had, including family life, and He gave that to me. Yes, I was searching for it, but I am thankful to Him for letting me have exactly what I have.

I have 4 siblings, 3 who are still alive and one who died over 30 years ago.

I do the best I can at being a good sister for the 3 of them, and I will lend a hand whenever needed and when I can.

It was so easy when we were younger to get so involved in each others lives. Ya know, the older you get, the more you realize that caring and dabbling are two separate entities.

I am a Good Daughter, and I was told just that the last time I seen my mom. She passed away over 18 months ago and it has been the second most tragic experience in my life, after losing my little brother to Lukemia some 30 years ago, when I was only 7.

I have my good days and my bad days, but over time it does get easier. I will never forget her love, her life and who she was to me.

I hope that I can be there for my dad, and I don't want to take a day for granted, as so many of us can and do in life. He no longer lives an hour away and my hopes that he would soon move closer to where I live came to pass this year.
He re-married this last fall and while he loves spending time with all of us kids, he most certainly does have his own life and responsibilities to tend to as well -but, no longer an hour away!

I enjoy many things like; Reading, Writing[Blogging], Crochet & Knitting, Cooking * Baking, Entertaining and spending time with my FAMILY and friends!

I am sure I will get more online when I can,

but right now ....."Life Gets in the Way".
